Lucy Berry

I am a senior-level journalism and English double major at the University of North Alabama. I work as the executive editor of The Flor-Ala, UNA's weekly newspaper, and also as the student writer for University Communications. I worked as the news/managing editor from 2010-2011 and as a staff writer from 2009-2010 with The Flor-Ala. I completed a three-month long journalism internship at The Decatur Daily in Decatur, Ala. last year and am currently working as a reporter and page designer with The TimesDaily in Florence, Ala. I plan to graduate in May 2012 and hope to find a reporting job where I specialize in investigative and crime stories. I also want to attend graduate school to earn a master's degree in English or journalism in hopes of teaching English literature, creative writing or journalism at a collegiate level.
