My Passion and purpose is serving, teaching and motivating people, especially children. I love God and I love others as He loves me; to the best of my broken ability. I thrive in the pursuit of meaningful missions and I enjoy the challenge of learning new skills. Taking broken things and making them beautiful and functional brings me joy. I get great satisfaction out of finding a purpose for an otherwise useless object.

Children and animals make me smile like the quirky dork that I am. I laugh, cackle and chortle LOUDLY. I am still awed daily by the beauty God created in nature. Color speaks to me emotionally. Music makes me move -- to the chagrin of my teenagers. I can't help it, I was growed this way. I love wearing my hair in braids and ribbons, and YES, I am too old for that. My life motto can be summed up in "Go big or go home!"

But most importantly, I would say that I endeavor to make a place in my life for people who have no place at all, relationships make my heart beat.
