LUCY BOERMANS

After college..I won a bursary to study Italian at L' Istituto Per L'Arte e Il Restauro in Firenze..I was sure I wanted to restore paintings..with all romantic notions shattered I returned to London, freelanced in stopframe animation for a year, then took a post grad diploma at DJCA in Dundee. For the next 10 years I worked in tv design/animation travelling the globe to Rome, London, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur then finally settling in Glasgow, and working for BBC Scotland in 1997. Changing to part-time employment in 2000, and 3 wonderful children later, I then retrained between 2009-2011, launching LUCYBOERMANS jewellery and textile design in March 2012.
