L-Boogie Fitness
Featured as a "Rising Star" in W Magazine and in the T Magazine pages of The New York Times, Lauren "L Boogie" Goldberg has been involved in athletics and fitness since she began a career in gymnastics at the age of two. Lauren was honored in the "Who's Who of High School Athletics" as a state champion, regional champion and national qualifier and became a USA National team member. A full ride division one scholarship athlete at Iowa State University, she was an Academic All American and ranked in the top ten in the nation for gymnastics. She was captain and MVP of the team that won the "Big 12" championship and was involved in sports specific training with all of the athletes on campus during their off seasons. After receiving her degree from Iowa State University in 2002, Lauren began her career in personal training and group fitness in Colorado, where she had been born and raised. She specialized in strength and conditioning, flexibility and core movements, and high impact cardio classes including plyometrics, spinning, and outdoor boot camps. In January 2005, Lauren moved to New York to pursue her career in personal training. Her energy, encouragement, creativity, and professional knowledge have earned her a devoted following of clients from the worlds of professional sports, entertainment, media, finance, and fashion. She believes that with the right combination of focus and dedication everyone can reach their fitness goals and "L"-Evate their lives. Lauren's signature fashion-meets-fitness style has been highlighted on the pages of Glamour, Shape, Footwear News, Gotham, Women's World, AM New York, Contemporary Bride, Life & Style, Star, OK Weekly, and The New York Post. You can often hear her dishing out the latest fit tips and gym fashion trends on Sirus Radio as well. She trains clients in their homes, on the road, private locations, and at Peak Performance- New York's premier personal training facility- where she is affectionately referred to as "The Pint Size Powerhouse"
