Leonard has a Bachelor of Science degree in Development Communication from the University of the Philippines Los Baños. He specialized in Community Broadcasting.
He currently works as a Homeroom Teacher for Grade 8 and as Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) at GEMS International School - Al Khail, teaching social emotional learning and behavioral development. Apart from being an intervention class teacher and academic support, he is also a member of the school's Wellbeing Committee. He is also an experienced English as Additional Language (EAL) Teacher and facilitates learning camps to Primary School students.
Leonard has worked in various fields. He has work experience in education, literacy training, business process outsourcing, marketing, sales processing, and administrative work.
As an active member of university organizations, he was the former National Secretary for Campaigns and Advocacies of the Bukluran ng mga Progresibong Iskolar ng Bayan (Bukluran-UP System), former Chairperson of Linking Everyone Towards Service in CDC (LETS-CDC). Leonard is also a member of the UP Alliance of Development Communication Students (UP ADS), where he served as Deputy Director.
Leo, as his friends call him, enjoys traveling, cooking, reading books, watching movies, and television series during his free time. As a football and rugby fan, he also enjoys playing volleyball, bowling, badminton, softball, and athletics.
He currently resides in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
