I recently joined the Bank of Canada as an Analyst in the Financial Markets Department. I am part of a rotational program that has me working with the Market Structure and Regulation team followed by other teams within the department. I have a keen interest in financial markets, systemic risk, network theory, financial econometrics, and of course european football.
I earned a Master of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce - Finance from the Université de Sherbrooke. My master's thesis focused on the impact of the European Sovereign Debt Crisis on Canadian Domestic Systemically Important Banks (D-Sibs) stocks.
