Lee Burnette
San Francisco, California, United States
After serving 5 years in the Navy as a Search and Rescue Swimmer Lee moved to LA for a job testing and building telemetry satellites. He soon got bored and missed helping others. Lee moved to San Francisco in 2011 to study business. At college he helped to run the Veterans club representing over 1,200 student Veterans. While in college he volunteered as an intern in City Supervisor David Chui's office at city hall. Following his internship he then was appointed as San Francisco's Commissioner of Veterans' Affairs, and soon after was also hired by the VA to assist Veterans finding employment. When not working, Lee can be found on the docks running an all volunteer free sailing program for Veterans and their families. If you can offer assistance to the Veterans of San Francisco contact Lee Burnette directly at any of the following apps or email.
