LC Ormsby

LC Ormsby is a retail business leader with a proven ten year track record successfully managing multi-million dollar stores. LC’s profitability and people management record earned her numerous positions overseeing stores in Hampton Roads, Virginia. LC’s focus was to invigorate the store's culture and morale through training, development, and mentoring. Under her leadership managers and associates were paired according to their personal and professional strengths and opportunities, which in turn created an environment conducive to learning. The benefit of this strategy yielded superior internal and external customer relationships, increased profit margins on average 15% per store, and employee retention and promotions sky-rocketed.

After the death of her daughter in 2012, LC decided to leave Corporate America and become an Entrepreneur. She was able to combine her passion for people and food into her first entrepreneurial business venture, A Family Affair Catering Company, LLC. As her company grew throughout Virginia, LC expanded her business to include event planning and design. LC is now a sought after inspirational speaker. When not traveling for speaking engagements LC continues to plan, design, and cater events.

In 2015 LC partnered with Petra Marie to form The Business, Entertainment, and Arts Alliance aka Bizenarts. Bizenarts is a bridge that connects the business, entertainment and arts industries. Bizenarts' objective is to create a central source for the development of entrepreneurs in creative fields. Bizenarts mentors and develops tomorrow's entrepreneurs using age-appropriate modules and competition platforms. Bizenarts learning modules and competitions foster a positive learning environment that promotes entrepreneurship and life skills for personal and professional growth.
