I'm a Research Professor at the Sonora Institute of Technology. I received a bachelor’s in Information Technology from the Institute of Technology at Mexicali, Mexico, a master’s in Computer Science from CICESE, Mexico, and a PhD in Informatics from the Manchester Business School at the University of Manchester in the U.K.

Currently, I'm the president of the Mexican Association on Human-Computer Interaction. Also, I actively participate in the board of the Mexican Society of Computer Science.
