With a passion for adventure and a drive to succeed in her personal life, both of those traits seem to work well in Lauren's professional life as well. Every day is something different in the field of communications and Lauren is always looking to tackle a new (and sometimes unfamiliar) project. In addition to trying new things, she's able to carve a niche in one of the things she enjoys doing most: telling people's and organizations' stories that make them stand out.

Lauren puts the "social" in social media. Focused on enagement and content creation with Ohio State's main social media accounts, she spends her time working with multimedia and interactive storytelling.

Lauren is the communications specialist in the Editorial Communications team, which resides under University Communications at Ohio State. She's had the privilege of working for the University in the communications office since June 2010, starting off as an intern in Media Relations, working as a communications assistant, and then transitioning into her current role at the University in March 2013.

Lauren graduated from The Ohio State University in March 2012 with a bachelor's degree in strategic communication and a minor in psychology.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, exercising, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and trying anything new and adventurous.
