I graduated with an associate degree in registered nursing in May 2013, and obtained my RN license in July of 2013. Since then I have been working on my bachelor's degree in nursing, I should graduate in December of 2014.
I never knew I wanted to be a nurse. I am a former Navy Hospital Corpsman, and have a natural talent for caring for people. Have you ever been good at something even though it is not what you ever saw yourself doing? That is me. I always saw myself as a famous person; a singer or actress, but I am too scared to try so this is what I do. I can save someones life, but not sing in front of people who are judging me, crazy right?
My Bachelor's degree program has inspired me to create a webpage/blog to help military personnel and veterans with their transition into civilian life, by providing tips and tricks, lessons friends and I have learned and gone through, so others do not have to.
