Lou Delzompo
Northern California, United States
I have focused my career over the last decade on the educational technology market, in both K-12 and higher-education in the US and overseas. Through my work at Parchment, Apple Computer, Pearson, NetSchools, Connected Information Systems, and now as CTO of the California Community Colleges Technology Center, I am an expert in the application of technology across the four main areas of use:
- Infrastructure
- Technology for Learning (student achievement)
- Technology for Professional Development
- Technology Curriculum (aka 21st Century Skills)
I frequently consult with individual schools (public, charter, and private) as well as school districts and charter networks in both urban and rural settings. As far as I know, I have created one of the only rubrics in use to assess technology deployed to support the "business" of a school.
In a commercial venture, my skills as a talented manager of people and the ability to build productive and loyal groups set me apart. I am a very good public speaker, and in my roles as a senior executive leading engineering and product management, I have utilized these skills to help sell and market complex solutions.
I am confident in my ability to add value to any organization involved with computer solutions development, marketing, or sales.
