Media Specialist, Mother, and Student in Moline, Illinois
I am a Media Specialist in a K-5 elementary School in Moline, Illinois. This will be my second year in the position. Prior to taking the position I worked throughout the school district in the elementary schools. While teaching I was always drawn to the library. When a position for a Media Specialist became available in the building I was working in I decided I needed to pursue it. Currently working on creating a makerspace. One goal I have for the school year is to build a stronger relationship with teachers and work collaboratively with them.
