As the 7-12 Instructional Technology Specialist, my role is to support teachers and students in becoming 21st Century Learners. Technology in education is consistently changing and it is my responsibility that teachers are aware of the latest trends and have access to the tools that will have a positive impact on their students' education.

Here are just a few areas where I support teachers:

• facilitate professional development classes covering a wide variety of topics--from Google Apps for Education to video making to Web 2.0 tools
• support teachers in their delivery of the curriculum using technology
• co-teach lessons
• coordinate global collaboration
