I was born and raised in Bakersfield, California, and now reside in Dallas,Texas with my husband Scott and dogs Chico and Zeppo. I have 14 years experience in education: 6 years in the classroom and 8 as a librarian. I have taught in Texas, Alabama, and Nebraska. In my spare time I love traveling, cooking, spending time with friends and family, collecting vinyl, listening to music, and of course reading. I am passionate about Maker and STEAM education and providing students opportunities to explore their interests and passions.
