I am a 34 year old mother of 5, happily married for 15 years. I love to read, mostly historical novels but I will read just about anything when I'm bored enough....including the back of my shampoo bottle. I love food from start to finish. Growing fresh vegetables in my garden, taking care of our flock of hens, preparing a meal for our family, and finally enjoying it together!

I strive to live my life mindfully, in the full pursuit of joy. Over the last couple of years I have found that true happiness can only come from a content heart, one that seeks out the beauty in the every day. By doing this I believe that we can have immeasurable joy even in the midst of hardship.
