Leah Goodman is an established communications strategist who is passionate about working with mission-driven and innovative brands. Her specific expertise lies in creating thoughtful, individualized strategies that work for each client, including traditional media relations, influencer engagement, social media, partnerships and more.
With over a decade of experience in communications under her belt, she has developed and led communications strategies for some of the most impressive brands across industries including, tech, media and entertainment, business, travel and hospitality and more. She’s held roles at some of the most respected NYC-based communications firms, including Sunshine Sachs where she spent more than 5.5 years of her career. Her responsibilities have included overseeing the day-to-day management of accounts, serving as strategic counsel and confidant to clients, junior staff and key executives, as well as fostering lasting relationships with media to help ensure that impactful coverage was garnered across the board. She has managed and mentored account teams, as well as direct reports with varying levels of experience, in addition to serving as the point of contact for an array of clients at any given time.
Leah’s previous experience also includes serving as the communications director for Manners of the Heart, a nonprofit organization focused on character education for students in kindergarten through high school. In that role she led the charge on drafting all creative marketing materials and website content, handled press relations and community engagement initiatives, helped plan tentpole fundraising events, and more.

Leah is a firm believer in the power of great storytelling and received her B.A. in Communication Studies from Louisiana State University.
