A Self Care Advocate, Astrology writer (& reader/ consultant), Researcher & practitioner of Natural Medicine, Welfare worker, well lived & traveled lover of life. An avid reader, persistently pre-occupied with sourcing knowledge & wisdom, particularly relating to healing & wellbeing. I am a qualified Feng Shui Consultant (since 2003), Holistic Counsellor, Massage Therapist, Flower Essence Therapist, Reiki practitioner (3rd Degree), who has an obvious love of learning within the realm of healing arts. I have also completed qualifications in Meditation Therapy, Holistic Stress Management, Dream Exploration, Personal Growth Facilitation, (I Ching) Divination, as well as Advanced Chinese & Western Astrology. I have faciliated a certificate course in Spiritual Astrology & subject within a Counselling Diploma, presented workshops on Chinese Astrology and been a guest speaker at a Public Speaking competition, named the Gerry Beaton Speak for Change competition (2001). More recently I have been studying mental health as well as alcohol & other drugs so as to skill myself in the area of helping people overcome trauma and recover from addiction through such healing. I have a Natural health practice and am also working in the youth/ rehabilitation sector. My dream is to live large & tap into the power of awareness so as to break through the many layers of uncertainty there are yet to be explored in the area of wellbeing, healing and human beaviour. I keep a gratitude journal which I treasure, and encourage all to try it... and just see the power that it has, in re-focusing our energy so as to return home to our true inner peace... and wonder at the miracle of life.
