- My Student Teaching and Practicum was completed at Whiteman Elemenaty School in Knob Noster, MO. I worked in 1st, 4th, and 5th grade classrooms.
- I have worked for Sedalia Public Schools and two different points in my career. I started my teaching carrer with Sedalia at Skyline Elementary as a 5th grade teacher. My family was relocated for a few years, but then we returned to the Sedalia area where I continued teaching at Sedalia Middle School as a 6th grade reading teacher and social studies teacher.
- I spent two years working for the St. Joseph School District at Hall Elementary teaching 5th grade. There I was on the Communication Arts Cadre for both the building and for curriculum building for the district.
- I most recently have worked for Liberty Public Schools. I was a 5th grade teacher at Alexander Doniphan Elementary. While I was there, I had the opportunity to have a pilot classroom for our district that was centered on Blended Learning and Technology. The classroom had all three 5th grade classrooms combined in one room with all three 5th grade teachers as coteachers. Each of the 77 students also had a 1-1 device of a Chromebook.

- I also have plans to continue my education with another Master's Degree in Creative Writing from Lindenwood University.
