Since I was born music has played a huge part in my life and helped make me who I am today. Before I was even born my dad played in several bands and he's a huge part of what sparked my interest in music. At about eight years old I began playing guitar and eventualy added percussion, trombone, tuba, and ukulele to my list of instruments. I was part of the school band for six years and was tuba squad leader for two of them. Once I decided that I was going to work in the music industry I dedicated much of my time working towards that goal. I felt that in order to achieve this goal I needed to attend Full Sail University for Music Business; so I did just that.
While at Full Sail I worked with a local concert venue, The Plaza Live. I started as a marketing intern helping run the social media sites, put posters up around town, and organize files for the each show. I then began working there as the graphic designer. I created posters for the shows, ads for the local papers and magazines, and cover photos for Facebook. Lastly I worked as a stagehand helping the audio tech and stage manager with load ins and load outs, cleaning at the end of the night, replacing lighting gels, running lights, and anything else they need that day for the show.
I currently work for Gorilla Music as a Booking Agent. We put on shows across the United States in over 65 different cities. Working with local bands to help them grow, meet new fans, and connect with other local bands. For informaiton on shows email [email protected].
