Leah Thomson

I made my first wedding cake when I was 14 which is when I fell in love with baking. 6 years later, I am now selling bite sized desserts at two Farmer's Markets (Ottawa and Carp) and have made a total of 5 wedding cakes plus many custom cakes. Baking is my passion and I could not imagine a life without fondant flowers and cookie dough.

I am currently attending Algonquin college to learn more about business so I can learn as much as possible so my bakery will suceed.

I hope to one day own a bakery with a store-front. It will be a place where people can come and have a coffee and a cookie. I will also be making custom and wedding cakes.
