Introduction
I am a student who is in her third year of studying a Bachelor of Education at the University of Johannesburg. The course covers High School grades 8-12 with my majors being English and History. I am an energetic young lady who is always enthusiastic and passionate about everything I do, especially and want to inspire my learners develop the same passion for life and learning, because authentic learning takes place through life experiences, lessons that will stay with learners for the rest of their lives. After all, "You're living is not determined so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens" according to Khalil Gibran.
I enjoy finding new and interesting ways to teach which include researching, reading and finding documentaries that expand my knowledge on the subjects I teach. Interests outside of teaching include sport, art such as drawing , exploring outdoors (which has lead to some thrilling encounters), hiking, climbing, weaponry (particularly blades), and cars.
