As Dean of Academic Services at Leeward Community College, I lead with the vision of expanding opportunity, removing barriers, and creating an environment where every student and employee can thrive. I provide leadership and oversight for a diverse range of departments, including the Library, Theatre, Educational Media Center, Information Technology, Tutoring, Disability Services, and the Innovation Center for Teaching and Learning.
Throughout my career in higher education, I’ve been dedicated to fostering inclusive and engaging learning environments that increase access to education for all students. This commitment has guided my work in areas such as Problem-Based Learning, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Flexible Learning Spaces, Open Educational Resources (OER), Technology-Enhanced Learning, and Distance Education.
Outside of work, I stay active through running and hiking—that balances my enthusiasm for good food!
