Born in a little town, in southern Italy, Pasquale (Lino) Mescia came to America in 1968 for his job at Olivetti. After a change in job positions, he went back to school to follow his love of cooking and earned a diploma in culinary arts. Upon retirement, his love of Italian culture, art history and cuisine, along with his Italian roots led him to join the Sons of Italy, an organization that unites Italians living in America. Lino now enjoys providing Italian lessons to individuals and community groups.
