Lebohang Mokoena

I am a 3rd year student in the Faculty of Education at the University of Johannesburg majoring in Life Sciences and Information Communication and Technology(ICT).I currently live in Johannesburg, South Africa. My interests range from technology to entrepreneurship. I am also interested in web development, education, and programming. I am very passionate about education more especially technology based education.

I have previously enrolled at the sameinstitution in the faculty of Financial Management where I was doing Bcomdegree in Economic and Econometrics. Over the years toward studying the Bcom degree I lost interest in it and fell in love with education, hence I decidedto pursue the degree of my passion.I belief a skillful teacher is the one whobuilds a good relationship with his learners based on mutual respect, mutualdignity, trust and set a tone for classroom community, hence, my classesembraces inclusive education whereby my learners are accommodated in theclassroom regardless of any challenges they may have.I value the sense of community and Ubuntu in myteachings.

I have achieved numerous awards dating back from my primary schools days. I am the recipient of Gauteng Provincial legislature Community hero award for embarking on successful substance abuse eradication campaign in the Soweto township. Honored by the UJ Community Engagement Campaign for serving the needy for long time. Won first position as the best Life Sciences student for two consecutive years.
