I have always been a huge fan of College Football. I guess having four older brothers meant that I was destined to be a big sports guy. But something about College Football really just stuck with me. The energy, the passion, the chaos, it all just appealed to me in a major way.

From Elementary School to High School, I would wake up at 8 am every Fall Saturday morning to watch the three hour “College Gameday” preview of what to expect in the hours ahead in the College Football world before staying glued to the TV for the remainder of the day watching countless hours of College Football.

And still today, at the University of Georgia, I look forward to Saturdays in Fall for Game Days in Athens.

Eventually when I turned 16 I applied to work for the UAB football program in Birmingham, Alabama, and got the job. Originally I expected to be in the middle of all the action, watching practices, communicating with the coaches, and interacting with the players. But I quickly came to realize that the majority of my days with the UAB Football Program were spent organizing paperwork and making coffee runs.

In more recent months, I’ve started listening to College Football Podcasts on a fairly consistent basis, to fill my non-Saturday days of the week with, you guessed it, even more College Football. My brothers and I actually attempted to create our own College Football podcast at the beginning of quarantine. It would be fair to say that it did not go well.

I say all of this so that you can catch a small glimpse into my life as a College Football Fanatic.
