Lee Allen was born David Allan Howard on January 27th, 1995 to Shirley Lee and Clyde A.M Howard at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados. Born prematurely Lee’s chances of a long and normal life looked slim, but every day since then he has been proving the doctors wrong. Lee is a former student of the West Terrace Primary School, there he received the posts of prefect and head boy. He was also voted most reliable student, most improved and top boy. In 2006 he completed his Common Entrance exam and earned a place at The Combermere School. Lee was an outspoken member of the debating society and the youngest member of the successful debating team in 2006. He was a proud member of the No.3 Company of the Barbados Cadet Corps making it to the rank of Corporal. At Combermere Lee obtained 8 CXC level exams and two other CXC's privately, in 2013 he completed his studies at the Barbados Community College earning an Associate Degree in Spanish & Biology.

Through encouragement from family and close friends, Lee began singing professionally in 2010 under his given name David Howard with his first performance being in the Major Noott Hall of his alma mater, the Combermere School.

Lee Allen has performed for shows such as TinPan Alley, BEAT Live @ Oistins, Christmas in the Park, Mahalia's Corner, De Vibe and many more. He took part in the Richard Stoute Teen Talent Contest from 2010-2012 making it to the finals on two occasions. He is also the 2013 winner of BCC's Got Talent.

Lee credits working with other artists such as Rhea, Tionne, Ty Blue, Jay Milez, JamStar and more.
Recently Lee Allen joined forces with two close friends and talented Barbadian singer/songwriters Torian and Maya Amara to form the trio, iBRID. Together they have performed for stages like Queen's College Pageant, De Vibe, Mahalia's Corner and for Rhea at Love, Poetry & Song. In 2014, Lee, Torian and Maya Amara were featured in a documentary for a french television station along with other artists. Lee credits iBRID for improving his confidence as a singer/songwriter.
In early 2014, Lee began taking his song writing more seriously. His first single "I Assure You" is based on life experiences and when he put pen to paper, his experiences became his art. "I Assure You" will release in January 2015.
