Leeandre Stevens holds a Bachelor of Education in Senior Phase and FET Teaching from the University of Johannesburg, with specialisation in Afrikaans and History. Since 2025, she has been permanently employed as an Afrikaans teacher, where she is committed to fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment. Throughout her academic journey and professional career, Leeandre has remained actively involved in her school community, continuing to strengthen her interpersonal skills and dedication to learner development.

“My involvement and experience in various departments, including serving as a Student Teacher, Tutor, Residence Mentor, Academic Advisor and Junior Usher at the UJ Arts Centre, has allowed me to work closely with learners, students and the UJ community at large.”

Leeandre exhibits exceptional comprehension abilities and has a keen sense of understanding the needs of students' learning styles. She tailors her teaching methods accordingly and recognizes that each student is unique and learns best through different approaches. Her aim is to provide a great educational experience, ensuring optimal student growth and success. Lastly, she desires to truly make a difference in the lives of students, empowering them to reach their highest potential.
