I'm an academic librarian and have had the good fortune to live in a number of places in Canada and elsewhere.
I love animals (currently have 2 cats and 2 dogs) and feel strongly about animal health and rights. Often, I prefer animals to people!
I don't do it enough, but I am passionate about downhill skiing and dancing. I also like to play sports and be active - although time and energy seem to disappear much faster lately.
Other things about me: I love to read fiction, I am always (re)learning how to knit, I'm open to new experiences but don't want to hurt myself, and love and laughter are important in every day.
