I currently work as a software engineer. I've been in IT and/or software for most of my life. I like Windows, dislike Macs/Apple and love my wife and six children. I'm liberal in my political views and support a woman's right to choose. I abhor the death penalty. I love dogs and cats. I think marriage is a contract between humans and that contact can be extended to any number of men and/or women of legal age that care to enter that contract. I believe in the strict separation of church and state. I do not believe that a corporation is a person.

I work a 30 acre farm in my off time with my wife and two youngest boys. We have chickens, rabbits, Dexter cattle, goats, sheep, ducks and pigs. We are trying to simplify our lives by raising some of our own food and spreading the word about sustainability and conservation. Find out more about our farm at Brier Creek Family Farm on the web, or Road to Simplicity on Facebook.

My ethnic background is Korean and English. My father, who served in the Navy, Army and Air Force in WW II, the Korean War and the Vietnam war, met my mother in the Korean War. I was born in the US and grew up in the south and was the only Asian in my high school class. My parents are both gone now. I wish I had spoken to them more while I had the chance.
