Lee Francis

Leeds

Hi, my name is Lee Francis, and I founded leeonline.co.uk in 1992 after leaving Hospital Radio Plymouth where I had an interest in radio and the media. since 1992 I have worked as a freelance presenter for various radio stations and I was part of the team that helped Exeter launch its second independent local radio license Exeter FM. I was privileged to be able to present the weekend late show for a couple of years and I left the station in 2009 just before it was re-branded to what is now known as Radio Exe. Since 2013 I moved to Leeds from Plymouth and I am about to undertake a Ba(Hons) Journalism Degree at Leeds Metropolitan University in September. I currently like keeping fit at the gym, I also like walking in the Yorkshire Dales.
