Morven Park is a historical landmark, recognized by National Register of Historic Places. The park sits on a 1,000-acre estate in Leesburg, Virginia and is a short drive to the nation’s capital, Washington D.C. Owing to the importance and a number of visitors the park receives, it has become an official “Central Park” of the region. In recent years, the park has been over 250,000 visitors annually who engage in hiking, touring the mountain ridges and the woods, playing on the athletic fields, and engaging in competitive equestrian events.

But the most important aspect of visiting this park is touring the historic buildings and the museum. The park has three museums, each catering for a specific theme that has been associated with the estate. Herein, we are going to delve into each of the park’s museums.
