Sara Hellsten

A geekette named Sara Hellsten, located in Oslo, Norway and have been living here the past 10 years. I'm originally from Linköping, Sweden.

I graduated last year from The Norwegian School of Information Technology with a bachelor in Java programming. Programming is fun!

I'm working fulltime as a developer and enjoy going to work each day. I have awesome colleagues and learn new things everyday.

I got my first computer (Macintosh II) when I was 8 years old and have been geeking my way through life ever since.

In my speartime I run the blog leetlady, a blog about geeky stuff, gadgets, gizmos and all the things you don’t really need – but you just have to have anyway. I really enjoy writing, and need a daily outlet. There are just too many words floating around in my head.

Due to this gadget addiction of mine, my apartment is pretty much full of stuff that to others might look like useless crap, but to me it's a precious plastic treasure!

I'm really hung up on Star Wars, and I'm building my first Star Wars costume, a Biker Scout. When it's done I will join the 501st Legion, a world wide Star Wars costuming society that's involved in volunteer work on a local and international level.

I might not look like the average geek – but do not be fooled ya'll, I can assure you this one is a full grown nerd!
