The CEO of two in-patient detoxification and rehabilitation services companies - the Elev8 Center Addiction and Wellness Center, a 75-bed inpatient facility in Harlem and the Urban Recovery, a 36-bed facility in Brooklyn, NY. Other than that, is also the Director of the Elev8 Foundation – a 501C3 non-profit organization based in New York.
Has been in the field of substance abuse for more than 15 years now and has worked in a variety of roles including that of a volunteer, business consultant, and an operator and owner of inpatient and outpatient treatment and wellness centers.
Member of several organizations that work in the field of substance abuse including the Harlem Chamber of Commerce Health Care Committee and the Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Providers of New York. Has been a speaker and panelist at the New York Health Care Summit for two years in a row. In addition to this, also sits on the Northern Manhattan Substance Abuse Task Force and the education scholarship committee of ASAP.
Holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland and is also a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC). Has participated in a few Executive Education Programs at Harvard Business School and MIT Sloan and is currently finishing Rabbinical Ordination with Chabad Lubavitch in Brooklyn, NY (2020). Also working on Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.
