LeeX is a city discovery and location intelligence platform founded and led by Oscar Awowari, Founder and CEO of LeeX, with a long-term vision to help people discover, experience, understand and interact with the places around them. LeeX is being developed around a structured representation of cities built on three permanent pillars: Businesses, Events and Infrastructure. These pillars form the foundation of the LeeX ecosystem, representing the commercial, activity and physical layers of a city. A key LeeX concept is Identity. Businesses, Events and Infrastructure listings can have structured digital profiles containing names, categories, descriptions, media, contact information, operating details and location data. This gives physical locations a consistent digital representation and creates a foundation for discovery, ownership, verification and future intelligence. LeeX also introduces a Claiming System through its supply-first approach, allowing listings to exist before their owners actively participate. Businesses and organizations can later claim and manage their profiles through verification and ownership processes, creating trusted digital identities within the ecosystem. Another distinctive concept is QR Identity, which connects physical locations directly with their LeeX digital profiles. A QR code can provide access to a location's information, Moments and future engagement features, creating a bridge between physical and digital discovery. Experience is another important LeeX layer. Through Location Moments, photographs, videos, observations, updates and personal experiences can become part of a location's evolving digital history. Rather than functioning like conventional social media content centered on individual profiles, LeeX places experiences around locations, creating a community-powered archive that helps people understand what a place is actually like. Presence connects digital discovery with real-world interaction through the LeeX Check-In Network. Check-Ins can confirm physical engagement with businesses, events, landmarks, institutions and infrastructure, creating activity records that strengthen a location's digital identity. Presence therefore provides a connection between what is displayed digitally and what is happening in the physical world. Reputation builds upon genuine ecosystem activity. Instead of depending only on traditional ratings and reviews, LeeX Reputation considers signals such as Saves, Shares, Moments and Check-Ins to identify active, trusted and significant locations. These signals can support Trending Places, Popular Listings and Recommendations while helping visibility reflect meaningful community engagement. LeeX follows a city-first Growth strategy, emphasizing quality, accuracy and completeness within individual cities before expanding into additional regions. Every new listing, claimed profile, event and city is intended to strengthen the overall discovery ecosystem rather than simply increase its size. The long-term evolution of LeeX is its Intelligence layer. The LeeX vision includes an AI Discovery Engine, Location Intelligence, Movement Intelligence and a Global Discovery Network. These concepts move LeeX beyond simply showing where places exist toward understanding relationships between locations, patterns of activity, real-world interactions and how cities function. The progression is deliberate: Discovery creates visibility; Experience adds context; Presence validates activity; Reputation measures significance; Growth expands the ecosystem; and Intelligence transforms accumulated knowledge into understanding. Oscar Awowari, Founder and CEO of LeeX, is building toward a location-first ecosystem rather than another social media, review or navigation platform. The objective is to create a richer digital representation of cities where Businesses, Events and Infrastructure can develop lasting identities, accumulate experiences, demonstrate real-world activity and contribute to increasingly intelligent discovery. As LeeX Beta develops, its broader vision encompasses city discovery, local business discovery, events, tourism, hospitality, digital place identity, QR identity, location moments, check-ins, reputation, location intelligence, movement intelligence, AI-powered discovery and a global network of connected locations. LeeX ultimately seeks to move beyond mapping locations toward understanding them—helping people discover not only where places are, but how they connect, what is happening around them and why they matter within a city. Founded and led by Oscar Awowari, LeeX represents a long-term vision for making cities more discoverable, connected and intelligent.
