Student, Actor, and Filmmaker in Austin, TX
Hi, I’m Natalie. I’m a student living in Austin, TX, though originally from Houston. I am passionate about live theatre, supporting small artists, and researching American history. I love working with others to bring artistic ideas to life through detailed and experimental set styling, costuming, and videography.
I believe art is always political, and we all must do our best to uplift and support each other to create films that represent our audiences and those behind the camera as well. I'm always down to go out for coffee to talk about '70s music, films, musicals (my favorite), and politics.
When given the opportunity, I volunteer for local businesses and charities, such as the Ronald McDonald House in Galveston. I'm also proud of my Cajun roots, so I'm always looking for ways to find out more about my history, while also learning some new recipes along the way. Growing up in Houston made me a really big foodie, so if you know any delicious Vietnamese, Thai, or Indian restaurants in Austin, I would love to hear about them!
I hope to make acquaintances with plenty of fun, open-minded, and optimistic people who are always looking to make the world a better place through their art and their everyday lives.
