Leigh Lawrence

Leigh Lawrence has over 20 years of experience in higher education as a student services specialist. Her background includes teaching, counseling, academic advising, and serving as a director of student activities. In 2007, Mrs. Lawrence earned her Global TESOL Certificate and worked as an English as a Second Language instructor at the Latin American Association, Asian-American Resource Center, and Business Linguistics. Currently she is the lead instructor for the Global TESOL Certificate Program offered through the Center for Continuing Education at Clayton State University. She created and developed a career component for the Global TESOL Certificate Program, which includes consulting, career presentations, and job referrals for TESOL students and graduates. Her personal global experience includes traveling in European and Caribbean locales. In addition she is an online English instructor with eTeacher Group, an international online language academy. Leigh holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Currently she is a candidate for the Master of Science in Education degree with a concentration in TESOL from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia.
