Leigh Goodison was born in British Columbia, Canada and moved to the U.S. in 1992. She is the author of the sci-fi novel Renascence, Limboland and The Jigsaw Man, in the St. Augustus Chronicles, Wild Ones, a young adult novel, and two works of nonfiction, The Horse Trailer Owner's Manual, and Goodies from the Great White North. Her third medical thriller, The Manipulators, will be released in summer 2018.
Leigh's short stories, articles, essays and poetry have appeared in dozens of publications across North America. For many years she worked in the medical and legal professions, which influences much of the material in her novels.
Leigh also produces DVDs and videos on horse trailer repair.
