For more than 15 years, I have built a track record as an award-winning marketing and communications leader; pursuing my personal professional vision of "Building Influential Brands To Influence The World".

I am currently the Head of Corporate Communications for Southeast Asia at Netflix. I am part of a team that helps formulate, execute and sustain a global communications strategy for Netflix in the Asia region. I also focus specifically on corporate and policy communications issues.

Prior to this, I was Head of Communications for Southeast Asia at Uber. I joined Uber from Shell; where I led Issues Management for the Asia Pacific region and Media Relations for Malaysia.

I joined Shell from Microsoft, where I was Head of Communications for Malaysia. My work was recognised with global, regional and industry awards - with some even becoming company-wide best practices.

I have also worked in the banking and financial services sector leading branding, marketing communications, publicity and CSR teams. Of note, I led these functions through a 17-month, dramatic bank merger as well as the integration process that followed.

My professional experience includes being a communication strategist for a private think-tank/consultancy to the Malaysian Government, particularly the Prime Minister's Office as well as founding my own business communications consultancy servicing clients from diverse sectors including education, lifestyle, manufacturing, property, services, technology and non-profits.

I completed an MA in Corporate Communications as well as a double BA in Speech Communications and Philosophy from the US. I attended Oxford University, UK, as part of an Honours Exchange Programme.

I am an avid advocate for youth development, especially through my volunteer work with The Boys Brigade.

I am a self-professed geek.
