Hi, I'm Leila :)
The Leafy Green Kitchen was established just over a year ago (with many name changes along the way), and it all began because I longed for a place where I could share my love of writing with my passion for healthy food.
My passion for plant-based goodness and wholesome food stems from a tough time that I went through at the age of 16 that caused me to find harmony and balance through food and natural medicine. It changed my life, quite honestly.
When I'm not trying out new recipes and making a mess in my kitchen, you’ll find me working as a client relationship manager for a serviced apartment company in the week, and at the weekend you'll find me walking my gorgeous rescue dog, researching new recipe ideas, writing this blog, drinking endless cups of herbal tea (and the odd coffee) and socialising with loved ones.
