I am an early career marine mammal scientist. My research interests lie in futhering our understanding and filling knowlege gaps on marine mammals, in particular cetaceans and their relationship with the wider environment. This includes; species behaviour and range, inter- and intra-species interactions, anthropogenic interactions, and acoustic behaviour. This increased understading can then lead into an improved approach to species conservation.

I have completed a BSc (Hons) in Marine Biology at the University of St Andrews and a MSc in Conservation Science at Imperial College London. In September 2017 I started as a PhD student on the London NERC DTP programme.

My further interests lie in photography, SCUBA diving and travelling. I have been lucky enough to see many beautiful places in the world but have yet to visit some dream locations including; South America, India, Antarctica and vast regions of South East Asia.
