Lena Loke

Singapore

~Jaunty, gluttonus and almost adventurous~

When she is neither studying nor serving, Lena spends her free time either boasting about the magnificence of South East Asia, snorkeling about her pool of idealistic dreams or spending an evening at Arab Street with a few great companions and a plate of Kunefe.

She enjoys practising English Calligraphy (something she is very new to), collecting stamps and writing postcards to fellow Postcrossers.

Lena has been involved in youth work with TOUCH community services for the past 3 years at the annual National Day Parade (NDP)

Her interest in Philantrophy has led her to participate in a myriad of community work, local and overseas. To date, she has volunteered in orphanages across Southeast Asia, namely- Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia and Indonesia, and have also partaken in other progammes such as TOUCH's meals on wheels and flag day.

Other experiences include spending a day at the institiute of mental health (IMH) to interact with the stay-in patients there.

Her all time favourite music includes "Already There" by Casting Crowns or most songs by Corrinne May, Mandisa and Laura Story.
