Prior to setting up Talk Sense, Leona Lo was Administrative Executive to Professor Arthur Lim, Founding Medical Director of the Singapore National Eye Centre; Assistant Manager, Corporate Communications, Parkway Group Healthcare; Corporate Affairs Manager, Health Promotion Board and Senior Consultant (Healthcare), Hill & Knowlton Singapore Pte Ltd.

As Corporate Affairs Manager, Health Promotion Board, she and her team provided PR counsel and support for the launch of various national programmes including the National Breast Cancer Screening Programme (BreastScreen Singapore) and National Osteoporosis Prevention Programme.

Leona joined Hill & Knowlton (SouthEastAsia) Pte Ltd as Consultant and was promoted to Senior Consultant within a year after successfully leading the GlaxoSmithKline and Schering AG healthcare accounts. Leona and her team conceptualised the “Take Charge” women's health (contraception) campaign for Schering AG and also helped garner substantial publicity for their men's health campaign.

As Principal Consultant, Talk Sense Pte Ltd, she helped brand and provided PR counsel and support for the launch of d-Bodhi, a pioneer in reclaimed wood furniture. She also managed the PR launch of The Skin Pharmacy, Singapore's first and only customised skincare pharmacy. Her healthcare clients included the leading French pharmaceutical firm Servier (S) Pte. Ltd. and German pharmaceutical giant Bayer AG. Leona led their PR launches and also arranged and facilitated the participation of local healthcare journalists in overseas conferences.

Leona currently serves as PR Consultant to Lock+Store, a leading self-storage service provider in Singapore. She is also the PR Manager for Assurity Trusted Solutions.

A lifelong learner, Leona is pursuing her Masters in CAWEB (HTML5, CSS, Javascript, PHP, SEO) with the University of Strasbourg in France. She holds an intermediate certificate in Data Analytics with Python from Hackwagon Academy.

Leona is passionate about animal welfare work. She is the site administrator for "Four Paws at Changi Village", a Facebook page aimed at raising awareness of the plight of Changi Village's community strays.
