Career journey

Timing is everything. I joined a global PR agency in 1998 and immediately became focused on the internet as the focus of my career. Read the Clue Train Manifesto. Got inspired. Did big work with good brands.

I was an early blogger and contributor to the community of professionals who came together to jam about this incredible wave of disruption we were experiencing.

Some highlights of my journey thus far:

✅Joined a market-leading agency and worked at the edges of digital, social, and sponsored content with some big-name clients. Traveled many miles.

✅ Developed online communities, delivered B2B revenue marketing, and did some fantastic, creative work for clients. I led a services engagement with a major American tech company for five years growing the agency-client relationship through successful innovation and results-driven mandates.

✅ Honed my strategy and planning process into a marketing roadmap product I used to establish my own consultancy, Reset Digital.

✅ Seriously into Human-Centered Design and optimal customer experience. I have over 100 hours of facilitation research with individuals and groups.

I’ve worked with over 35 client companies to tackle the big work needed to create lasting change. I’ve been fortunate to have collaborated with some fantastic people. You know who you are. Magical.

Personality-wise, I’m an idealist. [iNtuitive and feeling (N-F)]. I practice a growth mindset and am known to motivate and inspire others to achieve their potential.

A leader and individual contributor always, I love a collaborative team environment. I help teams work better together and individuals move towards excellence. I strive through heart-centered leadership to build healthy, high-performing teams.

I embrace new platforms and technologies and have experience with applications across the marketing tech stack. Warning: I’m prone to geek out about these passions.

I am seriously into my morning coffee ritual. Music is another of my things. I make playlists like a kind of digital knitting. I find it relaxing.
