Hi, I’m Jake. Let's face it: I can't stick to working in one career field. I work in three career fields simultaneously.
Started first business as a high school junior, working in information technology since 2004. Rebranded the company in 2011. Accepting appointments for on-site work, but I normally handle my workload through Field Nation, both as a service provider and (in rare cases) service buyer.
Been active in the radio and broadcast media since my freshman year at Culver-Stockton College. (RIP KCSW-LP 1970-2021).
Past and current Internet radio station owner: WWPM MediaNet 2010-2013, Heartland Newsfeed Radio Network 2018-Present.
Occasional broadcast engineer and training specialist for a handful of radio stations.
Freelance journalist since 2009. Most of my time since 2021 has been dedicated to Heartland Newsfeed. A large majority of my articles (including all podcasts that I produce or serve in a post-production capacity) are available here.
Politically: Libertarian. The two-party system is trash and needs to be a thing of the past. Political Director for the Libertarian Party of Illinois (November 2019-June 2022, January 2023-Present).
