Leon Atkinson

I am the founder of Internet software engineering consultancy Eighteen Intelligence (18INT), and a former VP/CTO at several firms. I wrote Core PHP Programming, the first book in the U.S. about PHP way back in 1999. I grew up and still reside in Martinez, California.

I created 18INT with the mission of freeing people from unnecessary constraints through the development of Internet applications. We do this through the relentless pursuit of truth, independence and joy.
