The co-creator of "The Bohemian Love Diaries: A Movie" and the head writer on its spin off "Salad Days," Leon is an American director from the Dirty South with more than a decade of film experience.
Raised in a single-parent family of all women, Leon began writing books and scripts at an early age. After studying film at NYU, Leon worked as a screenwriter on numerous projects, including a reinterpretation of The Bhagavad Gita, called "The Jedi Gita" and most recently on "The Gift" (2015) and "Jaideep’s Long Walk" (2014).
Leon holds a black-belt in karate-do and has practiced Transcendental Meditation since he was a teenager. He is also an avid juicer and part-time vegan. He lives in RVA with his wife, two young sons and a cat named Cat Stevens.
