Leonty McCarthy

A little bit about myself. I have graduated from High Point University with a BS Sport Management Degree. Since then I have been working four part-time jobs, all sport related except for the Ritz Carlton, just to polish up my customer service, when interacting with diverse people around the world. I am currently working with the Bobcats Sports and Entertainment as an Event Supervisor, the Carolina Panthers as an Guest Relations team member, and also working with Live Nation as an Event Staff Manager as their Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre.

While working with the Charlotte Bobcats first month into the season I won Most Valuable Player/Employee of the Month as an Guest Services Rep. 6 months from starting with that position I quickly was promoted to an Event Supervisor. I have the drive to become the best, and the drive to move up quick in any organization that I work for.

in 2011, I won a Hotels.com: “Clayyourself.com” Grand Prize Winner Commercial Contest that I particpated in. I used my marketing and creative skills to analyze the client needs I designed, edited and promoted my winning Claymation character and was Flown to Los Angles to do voiceover for released nationwide commercial debuted which debuted May 16, 2011. I'm considered to be an avid team player, I love to jump in and help without hesitation and use my strong initiative to seek out new tasks. I am a versatile, hard-worker, have great organizational skills, easy to integrate into a diverse team, a quick learner and a go-getter. I want to be the best at what I do. I love challenging my co-workers and strive to be the best when dealing with any sort of competition. Well thats me in a nutshell.
