hello,

My name Riki Lepori i born in Israel after travling around the world i setteled in San Jose CA.

Toaday i`m merried and have 2 amazing Kids Antonio his 7 and Racquel Shes 5.

On 12/29/2006 i gave birth to my little girl after 3 days or rest in the hospital, it was time to go home. Before our discharged the DR. told us that he can hear a murmur and we need to see cardiologic. So we did we find out that my daughter have heart defect and needed a surgery and yes the released us from the hospital. Racquel had her first heart surgery on 01/04/2007 aged of 6 days. So far my daughter had open heart surgery and she is fine. With the type of the diseases she have (Mitral Valve Stenosis ) the surgeries never end. But she's in school and very healthy.

As I mention I do have a son very handsome and smart today Antonio is 7, at age of 5 on day my son complained about stomach pain so as a busy mom I asked my husband to take him to the DR. as we found out (me via phone call) "your son have cancer" the "think" no parents want to hear. As shocked as we are here we go again nightmare!!!

My son was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma Burkitt's staged 4. I did no what to do I thought it's a bed dream that I will wake up and it will be gone, no we had to face realtiy and get to the parant mode . Both me and my husband quite our Jobs(well my husband got laid off cs' he had to0 much time off). We know we will face economic betel but we had 2 kids and we had to takeshift in the hospital since they told us he will be there for 6-9 month.

Well 6 month passed by with many tears and so many breakdowns but we had to fight not for us for my son. He was so brave with a very harsh Chemo that left him at 30 pounds he was the most breve kid I ever seen!!! So it was time to go home and face another reality Medical Bills over half a million dollars!!! Yes its was not enough to have 2 sick kids now we have to pay for it!!!

We lost all saving and trying to work to keep our home but I will never complain cs my kids are healthy now Antonio in remission for the last 17month and Racquel just had heart surgery in Feb and we good. The hospital may "run" aftet the money I don't have and be honest I just don't care. so live life happy and healty
