I am a musician currently living in Newark, New Jersey. My interests range from music to writing. I am also interested in sports, movies, and arts.

LeRoy A. Smith of NuCreation Music, is a New Jersey native, a songwriter, singer and musician.

LeRoy is one of the contributing songwriters for “Beyond The Silence”, an independent movie by William Michael Barbee of Prestige Media.

LeRoy is currently the Music Director for Kingdom Work Production’s stage play, “Marriage, the Musical” as well as the producer of the play’s sound track. He wrote and performs the opening song 'Be A Man' for KWP's stage play, “Measure Of A Man". He has also been featured in other KWP stage plays, "The Order of Love" and "From Chains To Change".

He has done musical work for the stage plays, “Soul Of A Man” and “The Morning After” and is working as the sound engineer for A’ndre Davis’, “Man Of The House”.

LeRoy currently serves in the music ministry at Union Gospel Tabernacle, of Newark, and St. Luke AME Church of Newark. Prior to he has served at Beulah Gospel Tabernacle UHC, in Bayonne, the First Baptist Church of Woodbridge, Mt. Zion House of Prayer in Red Bank, Greater Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Linden .

He has also sung and played for the North New Jersey District YPHA choir, North New Jersey Concert Chorale and the United Holy Church's General and Northern District's Mass choirs.

LeRoy has written and played for the bands Redeemed and M-Prov, both providing music for many diverse events including worship services, weddings, banquets, golf outings, community and political functions.

LeRoy is a proud graduate of Arts High School in Newark, NJ, and has continued his education at New Jersey City University, Gibbs College, the Groove Academy in Edison, NJ and the United Christian College in Roselle, NJ.

LeRoy, his wife Audrey and their three children happily reside together in New Jersey.
